Whether you’re looking for simple and delicious, or for crowd-pleasing favorites, these 50 Christmas cookies recipes are sure to get your creative juices flowing! Feeling ambitious? You can use one recipe each day in December! Well there’s a little bit more than that, so why not try to get two different cookies in each day! There’s nothing wrong with that right?! I am going to try my hand at my mom’s cherry cookies. They are amazing!’
Every holiday season, my mom always had the best Christmas Cookies Recipes. She would make these “cherry cookies” that were short bread cookies with candied cherries and pecans in them. They were slightly sweet and crisp, but the candied cherries were chewy and sugary sweet. It was probably one of the best Christmas cookie recipes that I remember from my childhood.
Now fast forward thirty some odd years later, and I am making my own Christmas Cookies Recipes for my family. I think my kids favorite is my Butterscotch Cookies of Awesomeness. They have Bailey’s Irish Cream in them (don’t worry the alcohol burns off) and creamy butterscotch chips. Let’s just say those bad boys flew off of the plate! You can get the recipe in this post too!
