Living Gluten Free is more than just a passing fad. For millions of people living with Celiac’s disease it could be something really difficult to deal with. That is until Udi’s started offering so many tasty options for those that are gluten intolerant.
You guys know just how passionate I am about educating people about food allergies, and coming up with yummy allergy friendly recipes. That’s why I was so excited when Udi’s asked me to try their products, and share you guys with what I thought.
To be 100% honest, I didn’t think I would like any of the Udi’s products. Gluten free was something I am not familar with, and I am not that adventurous of an eater. I also didn’t think they would have that many products to choose from. After three weeks chowing down on Udi’s products, I can tell you that I was wrong and wrong.
Udi’s has an amazing variety of products including granola bars, brownie bites, frozen pizzas, baked goods, bagels, cookies, white and wheat bread, and so much more. The Crunchy kids were so excited to try these goodies that it was hard to keep the vultures off of them. (Ok, I will have to admit when I tried the snickerdoodle cookies it was hard not to eat the whole box)
We weren’t really a fan of the Vanilla Vanilla muffins, but I can definitely see how they would be a great alternative for someone that is craving muffins and can’t eat gluten. The brownie bites on the other hand were AH-MAZING! We gave them to my eldest daughter, and it was a fight to get to try even one.
What I love most about Udi’s is that they are working hard to offer a great variety of products that are easy to find. Most large supermarkets now carry Udi’s products and even some restaurants like Red Robin carry their gluten-free buns! This touches my heart because finding allergy free products is so challenging, and becomes even more complicated based on the number of food allergies one has.
Gluten-free isn’t an area, that I have a lot of expertise, but Udi’s has me inspired. SOooo, that means I wanted to whip up something that was gluten-free, delicious, and something you can serve anyone! (Not just those with food allergies) That’s how I crafted this amazing gluten-free pizza! It’s delish, it’s divine, and my oh my it’s mine. (Well, I guess it would be yours if you are making it. Momma taught me to share ;))
