6 Post It Notes Organizational Hacks to Organize Your Life
File Labels If you are like me, your filing cabinet is cluttered with files and would be files. Every three years, I have to rotate my files and I really hate peeling the labels off of them because they tear the file label. Now I just use Post-it Flags and Tabs to label my files. Just write on the Post-it Notes and adhere to where the label goes. When you need to change the label, just remove it and put a new one.
Leftovers: In our fridge, we were always playing the “guess what this leftover is game.” With a family of five, we hate wasting food, but it always went bad because we couldn’t figure out what it was or when we last had that meal. Using Post-it Notes, you can label your leftovers plus write down when you had that meal so you don’t have to play the “let’s guess if this is still good game.”
To-Do List: Ok, so this organization hack is old school, but it’s still worth giving some love. I do not know what I would do without my Post-it Notes for my to do lists. I keep the longer lined notes in my planner, so everyday I can write down my to do list and mark it off. It has saved me from forgetting so much stuff.
Cleaner Labels: I love making my own homemade cleaners. It’s so much better for your family, and a lot more frugal too. Most of my cleaners are in glass jars and it’s hard to tell them apart from one another. The Post-it Brand Arrow Flags or Message Flags are great for this! I use these and put a little tape on top of them to keep them dry.
Video Game/Movie Labels: Sometimes when you store your movies, you can’t always see that title of the movie. Attaching a Post-it Flags or Post-it Durable Tabs to the top of the movie with the movie or game name makes that so much easier. Plus, because you do this you can stack your entertainment goodies better and save more room too!
Brainstorm City:Sometimes getting organized means getting all the clutter out of your brain too! When you are brainstorming, Post-it Notes are a great organization hack to get all your ideas out of your brain and out on paper to help you come up with some awesomely creative ideas!
I could go on and on forever with organization hacks using Post-it Notes! They keep even the most unorganized person like me organized. They help me organize my business, organize my household, and organize my life.
