More and more women now are looking for natural beauty solutions. Those that aren’t usually don’t because they think natural beauty solutions are hard to find, expensive, or both of those things. I’ve got a news flash for you guys!
You can find more natural beauty solutions that are super duper easy to find AND they won’t break the bank, which means you can keep up your simple beauty routine without all those chemicals you find in most beauty products nowadays.
Even before my recent health issues, I’ve been looking for natural beauty solutions that I could feel confident about the ingredients.
The more I educated myself through the years, the more I became worried about all the ingredients in beauty products that you can’t pronounce. (Like WTH is quaternium?? Pssstt that’s formaldehyde in case you didn’t know that)
When I became highly sensitive to chemicals, I really had to dig deep to figure out what beauty products I could use that wouldn’t make me ill. Not that I would wish chemical sensitivites on anyone, but it forced me to have to find more natural beauty solutions and care about what is exactly in my beauty products.
For me, the perfect blend is something that doesn’t break the bank (I’m frugal yo) and doesn’t have the following ingredients: harsh chemical sulfates, parabens, petrolatum, dyes, phthalates. Keeping those guys out my beauty routine has already began to brighten my day!
What about you? Are you looking for more natural ways to take care of yourself? It’s really important to find things that make you feel awesome on the inside and out!
Life is too short not to find things that put a little extra pep in your step! Beauty isn’t just about what you put on your face, it’s also about the passion you put in your life.
Some of these beauty tips might surprise you, but you know I’m all about keeping it real and sharing tips with you that have worked for me!
It must be working because recently my grandma told my mom “Ash is one of those women that gets more and more beautiful as she ages.” (Yup, I’m gonna cling to that compliment ;)) Now onto the tips!
4 Natural Beauty Solutions To Leave You Glowing
Find Your Truth: Nothing is more natural than finding your truth. What the heck does that mean? It means finding your soul, finding your passion, and finding how to make time for yourself! (Hint hint, you can read a blog post about that if you click the previous link)
Protect Your Skin: Your skin is one of the biggest parts of your body. Whether you are fair skinned like I am, or you are just trying to make sure you don’t look like a crocodile purse, it’s so important to make sure to protect your skin.
Plus, it’s an added bonus that this is an eco-friendly choice as well. (That makes my not so inner tree hugger happy) The folding cartons that the moisturizer comes is made from 100% recycled materials! After your done with your container you can recycle it as well! LOVE companies that try to make as minimal of an impact on the environment as possible!
Water Baby: Water is one of the easiest natural beauty solutions. We are practically made up of 99% water, so it’s no surprise that we need to consume lots of water.
To be honest, I’m REALLY bad at this one, but I try to mix it up with some fun recipes like watermelon infused water to get my water intake in. Though if anyone can figure out how to drink the amount of water we need without making 50 trips to the bathroom, please comment below because this gal has the bladder the size of a pea obviously.
Reduce Stress: Stress is AWFUL for your body, and definitely won’t leave you glowing. If fibromyalgia has taught me ANYTHING, it’s just how much stress can affect your body. It’s no joke that too much stress can age us and make us unhappy.
The best part of this tip is that it’s free! It’s so important to stress less. Most of the things we stress about never actually come to pass anyway, so why waste our brains stressing over things. Need a little more support? Then you need to check out these 3 easy tips to stress less! Totally worth it!
