When I went to Puerto Vallarta a few years ago, I bought this gorgeous silver and amethyst bracelet. It’s become one of my favorite pieces of jewelry because it reminds me of that trip and that if you work your butt off, that good things come to you. Since it’s silver it’s tarnished, which makes me not wear it anymore. That’s why I was super stoked to learn about Alchemy Jewelry Spray.
Alchemy Jewelry Spray is this cool products that you can spray on your jewelry that creates this cool invisible seal around your favorite pieces and prevents tarnish. Trust me, I wish that I would’ve had this when I got this bracelet because I would be able to wear it every day rather than it sitting in my jewelry box waiting for me to get around to buying some silver polish. I don’t own a whole lot of silver pieces, so it’s not really worth buying silver polish and keeping it around. Thus my pieces tarnish and just sit there.
Not only does it protect your jewelry from tarnish, it protects your skin from irritation from the metal in the jewelry. Might be a great option for people with sensitive skin that end up not wearing jewelry because the friction doesn’t agree with you.
Alchemy is super simple to use. It comes in this great spray bottle that lets you easily coat your favorite pieces of jewelry. It protects you from the metal on your jewelry, and protects your jewelry from tarnish. Before using it, I wasn’t quite sure if it would work or too if it would have some sticky feeling to it. There is nothing more gross than wearing sticky jewelry. After coating a few pieces of my jewelry, I was surprised that not only could you not feel the coating, but you also couldn’t smell it either. It didn’t leave any residue or stinky odors behind.
I’m really excited to get the silver polish for my bracelet now and know that Alchemy is going to keep the tarnish demons away from that special bracelet. It’s much more practical to keep a bottle or two of Alchemy around than it is to have to keep polishing jewelry. Who has time for that, right? Not this low maintenance girl!
