This post is written on behalf of AT&T Minnesota, but all Samsung love and App drooling are my own.
I have really enjoyed my summer with the kids. We have had so much fun hanging out together, both indoors and out. We have had some amazing hikes, explored our city, picked fruit and just had a lot of fun. Now that school is in session, it is time to get organized. We homeschool, so if I am not on a schedule and getting the kids on track, we have chaos. I have gotten so much use from my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 this summer! I have used it for everything from taking photos, to using the maps when we travel to finding a great place to eat. Now I am going to turn to my Note 4 and find some Android apps to increase productivity in my life. Here are 5 apps I cannot believe I have lived without!
- QuickVoice Recorder: This app is such a lifesaver! I can never find a pen or piece of paper to take notes on. Now all I need is the Quick Voice Recorder app for Android. Now if I am in the car and think of something I need to do, I can just use this app and record my note as an MP3 file.
- Evernote: This is a great app when I need to do more than record a quick note. With Evernote, I can have a more in depth note management I can use for just about anything. I can sync notebooks offline, and can make task lists, to-do lists, grocery lists, or notes for any reason. Evernote lets you take notes and photos, create lists, and record voice memos. The notes then can be searched from anywhere you have access to the app, whether it’s on your phone, tablet or other Internet-connected device.
- Google Drive: I do not know what I would do without my Google Drive! I can create spreadsheets, files, folders and manage them all from my phone. I have created a ton of work and homeschool documents to keep me on track and organized. I can also invite people to like, view or edit a file as well as email it or share with on the web. You also get 50 free GB of storage, which is plenty for my needs.
- Universal Password Manager: I have so may accounts that I cannot keep up with all the passwords. With UPM, I can easily access my login information for all of my accounts. It has the capability to synchronize the data on a cloud storage server, and has direct integration with Dropbox.
- Springpad: This is a super cool app and the more I use it, the more I love it. This app is based on collaboration, allowing you to share what you love with the people you love. Springpad lets you save those things you love, organize them into “notebooks” and share them with others, while allowing others to work with and contribute to your notebooks. You can save articles, photos, scan barcodes, record voice memos, music and even places. Once they are saved, Springpad allows you share them with those you wish to collaborate with—and, of course, those collaborators are also Springpad users with their own collaborations.
This is just such a small sampling of the apps available for your Android smartphone. I encourage you to hit the Google Playstore and see what apps fit your needs and lifestyle. There are so many that are free, you won’t need to spend a dime to get the apps you need.
