Rodelle Vanilla did give me products to make these Christmas cookies recipes, but all awesomeness is my own.
Christmas cookies recipes totally make my holiday season, and white chocolate cranberry cookies scream the holidays! That’s why this is our last Christmas treat that we are sharing with Chrissy from the Taylor House and Rodelle Vanilla! If you’ve missed the other four delicious Christmas cookies then you need to check them out. All of them are amazingly delicious and would make Christmas neighbor gifts or cookie swap treats!
During the holidays, there are always lots of chocolate cookies, tons of peppermint, and of course loads of things with coconut. Poor old cranberry gets neglected. Most people think of Turkey day for cranberry, but cranberry is an awesome holiday flavor as well! Remember those popcorn and cranberry garlands you used to make when you were a kid? See, cranberry is all about the holidays!
These cookies are a lot of fun because they have a tart flavor in the dried cranberries, but a sweet chewy cookie loaded with white chocolate. Not a white chocolate fan? You an easily replace the white with milk or dark chocolate too!
White Chocolate Cranberry Cookie
My family love this cookie because it’s a different twist than the average Christmas cookie. It’s got the sweetness that everyone knows and love plus a quirky tartness in the cranberry. Frankly, I wasn’t too sure how my kids would like it because they aren’t the most adventurous eaters, but again they surprised me. Even my husband that doesn’t care for cranberry had a second cookie.
I wanted to share with you guys though my secret weapon. Make sure not to tell anyone, because then everyone’s cookies are going to rock as much as yours do. Are you ready? The secret is in the baking sheet. Despite what I though in my earlier years, not all cookie sheets are created equal. I would wed my T-Fal Airbake Cookie sheet if it were legal (and I didn’t love hubby so much) this is the only cookie sheet I have found that time and time again the cookies cook evenly and they don’t stick for when a recipe calls for non-greased cookie sheets! I know I keep bringing up this cookie sheet, but you know it’s hard not to talk about awesomeness! Arm yourself with one of these and your cookies are sure to be scrumptious!
