I told you about our favorite picnic spot in our picnic basket ideas post. Minehaha Falls is so close to our heart, and because we homeschool we can head out during the week so it’s not so crowded! We just grab the picnic basket and fill it with some of these 30+ cold picnic food recipes and enjoy the day.
It’s been so nice out lately here in Minnesota, that we are trying to get in all the sunshine time that we can. With winters as long as they are here, we almost have to get out if it’s shining outside. We do it because we know that picnics in the winter time just aren’t the same. There’s something about the thought of losing your toes to frostbite that makes one hibernate all winter.
Now that the warmer months are here, we are headed out every day that the sun is shining to our favorite picnic spots! We hope you enjoy these 30+ cold picnic food recipes to rock your picnic! Make sure to check out the perfect picnic basket ideas so you have everything you need for your summer picnic too!
