I have to thank my friend Savanah from Midwest Modern Mom for introducing me to dump chicken recipes. Don’t burn me at the stake, but I didn’t know that was a thing!
Well, I guess I knew it was a thing, but I didn’t know it had a name. It sounds so much fancier when you can actually call it a name when dumping so many yummy ingredients.
Rather than “I grabbed this sauce and tossed it in a pot and TADA dinner!” Wow that is a mouth full!
We had one of those nights last week, and thank the culinary gods that I had some pre-made garlic alfredo sauce and some chicken breasts in the house.
If not, I would’ve just had the hubster run to the store on the way home and grab some. See, I am a kind wife and would even send him a picture of WHERE to find it. (You know guys, they never ask for directions)

I love my Crock Pot and my Crock Pot loves me. Normally I use a 7 quart crockpot because it’s enough to feed our whole house. (Man, can we get our EAT on!)

Personalizing your sauce makes you sound all fancy, and it let’s you put your quirky spin on the recipe.
We love that you can also personalize the sauce. Our family loves garlic, and though this sauce has amazing garlic flavor to it we add even MORE to it.

Supplies and Tools
- Star Wars Crock Pot (The Force Is Strongest in a 7 Quart)
- Cheese Grater
- Pasta Spoon
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast
- 2 jars Garlic Parmesan Alfredo Sauce (or Dairy Free Alfredo Sauce)
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning
- 1/2 Cup Grated High Quality Parmesan Reggiano (for garnish)
Directions:
- In a large crockpot, place the chicken breasts.
- Dump the Garlic Parmesan Sauce on top of the chicken breasts.
- Fill the empty alfredo jar half way with water and dump into the crockpot.
- Place the garlic powder and Italian seasoning into the crockpot.
- Cook on low for 2 hours.
- Serve hot over pasta or with your favorite veggies!

Instructions
- In a large crockpot, place the chicken breasts
- Dump the Jarred Garlic Parmesan Sauce on top of the chicken breasts
- Fill the empty jar half way with water and dump into the crockpot
- Place the garlic powder and Italian seasoning into the crockpot
- Cook on low for 2 hours.
- Serve hot over pasta or with your favorite veggies!
