Cheesy Bacon Ranch Dip

This cheesy bacon ranch dip is one of my favorite tailgating recipes. It’s an easy dip recipe, plus it’s a big hit anytime time I make it. The secret to this amazing dip? It only has five ingredients!

Cheesy Bacon Ranch Dip 

Like most of my recipes, this one is not light on the calories, but it is amazing. Most dips use only one packet of ranch dressing flavors, but to give my dip recipe a little extra kick I threw in sour cream and another packet.

Then fun thing about it is that you can make so many different kinds of easy dips using the cream cheese and sour cream base. For our Christmas parties this year, I am going to play around and see what kind of fun flavors I can come up with.

What I can tell you is that when I made this dip yesterday, I could NOT.STOP.EATING.IT! The hubby and I munched on it pretty much all day and let’s just say at least half of it is gone.

At least we had this awesome dip to console us, since our beloved Vikings lost again yesterday. Maybe I was drowning my football sorrow in the bottom of the dip bowl.

Nah, I think it’s just the fact this this dip is that damn good. Isn’t it great when you find recipes that are amazeballs and they are crazy easy to make to? Shhh, I won’t tell anyone that it didn’t take you hours to make this dip.

Sour Cream Bacon Ranch Dip Recipe

Tools:

• Mixing Bowls
• Wooden Spoons
• Dip and Chips Dish

Ingredients:

• 2 8 oz Packages of Cream Cheese (Room Temperature)
• 1 8 oz Tub of Sour Cream
• 2 Packets Ranch Dressing Mix
• 6 Strips of Bacon
• 1 Cup Cheddar Cheese (Shredded)

Directions:

1. In a large bowl mix cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch dressing.
2. Cook six strips of bacon until crisp, and then cut into bits.
3. Fold in most of the bacon and cheese into the sour cream mixture leaving some for garnish.
4. Serve with crackers
