Is it Time for a Spring Clean Up?
If your house looks anything like mine, it looks like a bomb went off in it. The harsh Minnesota winters don’t really give us a lot of time to open up the windows and to freshen up the house. It’s salt and mud and muck everywhere.
Snowpants, gloves, and boots are thrown off as soon as the kids come back inside. Rather than fight the beast, I figured just let them do what they may until spring comes around.
That’s why this mama is SO ready to organize the chaos and brighten things up a little bit. This printable spring clean checklist is my bible of cleaning. It’s a great general list that lets you go room by room cleaning.
With three dogs, three kids, and a husband plus living with a chronic illness our house is almost always a mess.
That’s why when I do try to tackle life’s messes I need to do it as effectively as possible. That means having a checklist, and cleaning tools that actually WORK are really important.
Our old mop was due for a replacement, so hubby picked up the Libman Compay Tornado Mop, isn’t that name fuN?!?
It’s a great mop that’s “America’s best selling mop” and that’s probably because it covers 50% more than other mops. Its polyester yarn mop head resists soaking up the smells, which is a great thing in my book!
Make sure before you start spring cleaning, that you’ve already printed this printable decluttering checklist to get all the clutter out of your way so you are ready to rock and roll.
Don’t take on to much and you are going to have a wonderfully clean house in no time. Then once you’ve done your spring cleaning, you can check back for my other cleaning tips to do all year round so you won’t have to do a huge overhaul each spring.
