Hanging with Vikings Kyle Rudolph at Cub Foods + Giveaway

This week I had a chance to hang with Vikings Tight End Kyle Rudolph at Cub Foods thanks to P&G. He was there as part of a great P&G promotion, where you bought $30 of P&G products to get a free Vikings beanie plus a great photo and autograph session with Kyle himself.

You guys know this girl loves her football. We’ve only been in Minnesota for 2 years and we have already been to three Vikings football games. We also can’t wait for the new stadium to open as well.

Before the event, we had a chance to interview Kyle, and he shared that he is super stoked about the new stadium as well. Having played in the Indianapolis Colts Stadium and the Cowboys stadium, has given him an idea how awesome the new stadium is going to be.

Kyle was also at the store to celebrate the grand opening of the new Cub Foods in White Bear Lake. It’s a beautiful new store, and there were so many people there for the opening and of course to see Kyle. In fact, the traffic in the parking lot was so crazy, I was almost late to the event. This is something some people would be annoyed by, but it really makes me smile because you can see just how enthusiastic Vikings fans are in this area.

I’ve had a chance to meet a few Vikings players, and they all have been amazingly awesome. Kyle is no exception. He seems to be a great guy, and really enjoyed interacting with the fans. He’s humble and was kind enough to give some kids tips on how to love football and make sure that you stay on top of your game.

It was a super fun event, and P&G did an awesome job getting the Vikings fans stoked about meeting Kyle and the new Cub Store.
