Even after being employed for a few years, anytime my husband disagrees with a boss I am still a bit gun shy, and I have every right to be. Four years ago we moved to a new state with no family and after a few months there, no job.
That fear crops up every now and again. It is especially bad now that we are once again in a new state with a new job, and today hubby has been called into the office. To say I am trying not to panic is an understatement.
That’s the thing about life though, you need to not let fear paralyze you. You need to live life to its fullest, and like its your last day on Earth. That’s how Mr. Crunchy and I are living our lives, and that’s how we are raising our children.
There will always be bad days, but even the smallest things you should appreciate. I think nowadays people take things for granted and let all that negativity overwhelm them, but if you think about it it takes the same amount of energy to complain as it does to think positively. You just have to get used to it.
Right now we are living the good life because we moved to a new state which we love. I am in a blogger mecca, I am actually going to a great blogger event tonight! There are a billion things to do in the city where we live for free, and for the first time in two years my daughter’s ezcema seems to be calming down.
So, Crunchy peeps, I challenge you! Live the Allstate Good Life and live life to it’s fullest. What are things in your life that you are thankful for? Comment on the blog post so we can all see how great it is to be you!

Wonderful post and great reminder to focus on the things that have changed for the better. Even though I may not have as much money in the bank as I’d like, I certainly try to remember and am very thankful that it’s much better than a few years ago when I wasn’t sure if I’d still have a roof over my head the next day. 🙂

I have been there a time or two with changing of jobs and moving. It can be tough but sometimes you just have to let go. So glad that you are doing well with your move and getting to know people.
