Kiyonna Hits the Red Carpet

Curvy girls like us have such a hard time finding a dress that makes you look absolutely fabulous. When the plus sized market first started, the only “dress” you could find reminded you of a tent or your mother’s house coat. I am so happy to say that Kiyonna and their plus sized fashion line has developed an amazing line of clothing to fit all plus sized girls beautifully!

Recently, I had the opportunity to strut my stuff on the red carpet at the Iron Man 3 premiere in Hollywood, California. For such a great event, just not any dress would do! I had to find something that was fabulous! We were going to be walking among Hollywood A-listers! Moomoo or tent was NOT going to be what this girl was wearing!

Kiyonna was gracious enough to provide a BEAUTIFUL dress. This amazing Luna Lace gown, in Onyx, received so many compliments. The best part is it hugged my pear shape curves in all there right places. The design of the dress really helped give me a great hour glass shape.

The lace wasn’t itchy like a lot of lace work can be. There is a great nude sheer covering under the top, so I was able to wear a regular nude color bra with the dress and no one was the wiser. When you have nursed a child until they were three years old, the girls are DEFINITELY not where they used to be so wearing strapless bras really isn’t a good option. (unless I want the girls at my belly button) Needless to say, I was SUPER excited I could wear a regular bra and still have a sheer look to this dress.

When I started sharing pictures of the dress I was going to wear with family and friends, they were all in love with the dress! It was even better to see that the dress looked just as amazing on me! (We are always our own worst critic, right?!)

With movie premieres, you always see the Hollywood A-listers in these gorgeous gowns, but ever wonder how the heck they are going to SIT in them for three hours during a movie? The Luna Lace dress by Kiyonna takes that wonder away. I looked fabulous and it was so comfortable, I could’ve worn that dress all day! It moved, fit me like a glove, and breathed as well!
