As a mom, sometimes you just have to feed the beasts (scratch that, I mean children) Life is hurried, and you do the best that you can trying to stay sane, keep your children in one piece, and get it all done.
Cereal for breakfast is seriously my superpower in the morning with the kids. It’s something we can throw in a ziplock baggie and take with us in the car on the way to a homeschool co-op, or if we have a smidgeon of extra time, the kids can enjoy at home before they start their homeschool work.
My kids are older and have very large opinions on what they like and what they don’t like. Yup, they’re kind of like overgrown toddlers with larger vocabularies. That’s why I make sure I hear them when they tell me what they want for breakfast.
Last week we were at our local Hyvee, and they spotted a new cereal on the shelves; Oreo Os. Let’s just say that box of cereal magically appeared in my cart, and I didn’t even have to lift a finger.
My youngest daughter has lived with a lot of food allergies, and Oreos has always been one of the things that she can still eat. When she saw that big shiny box covered in Oreo cereal, her eyes went wide and I think there might’ve even been a bit of drool dribbling from the corner of her lip.
The kids don’t ask for special favors often, so I happily obliged and let the box of Oreo Os remain in the cart. I’m kinda surprised the box even made it home. My kids really, I mean REALLY, love their cereal.
We love shopping at Hyvee because there’s such a great range of products, and we are definitely happy that Hyvee carries Oreo Os. It’s definitely going to become a new staple in our household! To find out where you can buy Oreo Os near you click here for their store locator.
