Parmesan Garlic Burger
Looking for a twist on the all American favorite burger. Everyone has burger recipes in my family, but this parmesan garlic burger recipe is sure to please/surprise them all. It’s really easy to make, plus it’s even a little better for you since it’s made with 99% lean turkey in addition to the regular ground beef. (Shhhh don’t tell them before they try it). My family loves grilling during the hot summer months, and we are always trying new recipes like this one. It’s amazing how just a few twists make a completely new dish! These easy to make patties are sure to win everyone over at your next family get together!
The first time Mr. Crunchy had this recipe, he instantly fell in love with it. He always whined that turkey burgers were too dry. By adding a little bit of beef to this recipe, it helps give the burger some moisture and a little added flavor. The rest of the flavor comes from the aged parmesan and the garlic. (He can never have TOO much garlic, I don’t mind as long as there is a toothbrush handy ;))
What’s your favorite burger recipes? Do you eat a lot of turkey burgers? Will you give this Parmesan Garlic Burger a try?

That looks delicious. I love the idea of 1/2 turkey and 1/2 ground beef. Brilliant!
Crunchy Frugalista says
Thanks, it takes a lot of the dryness out of the turkey, but still doesn’t add as much fat and calories as a regular burger

This sounds very interesting. What do you think about subbing out the beef with ground lamb, adding less garlic, and some mint and thyme?
Also, what do you recommend for households where beef isn’t preferred?
Ashley Sears says
I have never worked with lamb, but that sounds totally delicious. This recipe works well without the beef as well. It’s just usually better to work with a higher fat content turkey or mix in some ground chicken so the burgers aren’t dry.
