Being a gal from the Georgia it would be sacrilegious if I didn’t have a peach iced tea recipe.

They will feel guilty because you must’ve slaved over the stove all day to make such a great peach iced tea recipe. Let them feel guilty. That means they might do the dishes at the end of the day, and you can kick your heels up in your hammock enjoying the warm summer breezes wafting through your yard.
What is Peach Iced Tea Made of?
Peach iced tea is really easy to make once you learn how to make homemade simple syrup. These are the basic ingredients of homemade peach iced tea
- Peach Simple Syrup or Peach Puree: Simple syrup is just water heated with sugar. Pureeing a peach in there makes it peach flavored!
- Learning how to make simple syrup is a great tool to have in your tool bag. It’s SUPER easy to make and you can make a bajillion beverage combinations with just a few syrups. (Psst. You can also cheat and simply buy simple syrup too!)
- Black Tea: You can use your favorite black tea brand or simple Lipton Tea bags you find in your grocery store. Any black tea will work. (SUPER TIP: Most bagged tea in the store in the beverage aisle is black tea bags)
- If you wanted to get really crazy and mix up some other flavors, fruit flavored black tea would be amazeballs too! Pomegranate black tea is a favorite of ours.

Iced Tea Cooking Tips and Tricks
What if I like my tea really strong? If you like your tea stronger, you can do that one of two ways. You can add more tea bags, or you can allow your tea bags to steep (hang out in the hot water) longer. Just make sure DO NOT SQUEEZE your tea bags. This will cause the tea to be bitter
Can I make this without added sugar? Yeppers, you sure can! If you want to make your peach tea without added sugar, just make sure to puree some peaches and then add those to the steeping tea.
Why is my tea watery? If your tea tastes water that can be one of a few things. You could’ve not put enough tea bags for the amount of water. Or you could’ve not let your tea cool down enough before adding your ice cubes. That will definitely make for some watery tea.
