Thanks to blogging, I travel about five times a year. That’s why it’s important to have a plan to support your immune system. Ester-C is a huge way that my immune system stays supported when I go on my trips during the year.
If I want to make sure my immune system is at its best, it’s really important that I have my handy dandy Ester-C by my side. I’ve been a fan of the effervescent tabs for years, but now they have these great tabs and capsules that you can take just like regular supplements.
Every time I travel, I start taking Ester-C about a week before I leave, and then take it the whole time I am traveling to keep my immune system in tip top shape. This stuff rocks because one serving daily of 1000 mg of Ester-C® delivers up to 24-hour immune support 365 days a year. It hasn’t failed me yet.
This week, I went to Los Angeles to preview McFarland, USA and interview Kevin Costner (why, hello, Kevin!). In prep for my trip, the hubster headed over to Walmart to grab my Ester-C to keep the immune system pumping before I travel. Normally, the effervescent tabs is where it’s at, but when I got there I saw that they had some new products. The 500mg Ester-C is a great option because you don’t have to worry about waiting for them to dissolve. You just pop one and take a swig of water and you are all set. They were super easy to find in the pharmacy section, next to all the other vitamins and supplements. Plus, it’s even on rollback right now, so I grabbed it at a great price!
To make sure I was prepped, I grabbed the 500mg bottle and checked it off my packing list. Then my immune system was ready to kick butt while traveling to Los Angeles. Ester-C is just one part of my “toolkit” to stay pumped when I travel. Check out these travel tips to make sure your immune system is top notch while you are on the go.
7 Tips to Support Your Immune System When You Travel
Stock up on Ester-C: Grab 500mg Ester-C and start taking them the week before you travel. Follow the boxes instructions and keep taking them while on your trip.
Bring Hand Sanitizer: You never know what you might come up against while traveling, so stashing some hand sanitizer in your carryon will help! Just make sure it’s under 3 oz bottle!
Stay Well Rested: When you travel, don’t push yourself too hard. Take some time in your day to make sure you are rested and strive to get a full 8 hours of sleep at night. This will keep your immune system in tip top shape.
Don’t Overdo The Exercise: It’s great to be active on your travels, but don’t push yourself too hard. Not only will your muscles thank you, but your whole body will thank you!
Eat a Balanced Diet: Sometimes it’s hard to eat well when you travel. Make sure you get enough fruit and veggies, as well as enjoy some awesome new food while you are away from home!
Don’t Stress: Travel can be stressful, especially if your travel plans don’t go according to plan. Getting too stressed can really weaken your immune system, and possibly ruin your whole trip. Don’t sweat the small stuff and take a time out if things get too stressful.
Soak in the sun: Vitamin D here you come! Make sure you get some good time in the sun to make your trip amazing. Just make sure to use sunscreen or not get too much (no one likes a sunburn).
Now that you’ve got the tips, and know how much Ester-C rocks your next travels should be smooth sailing! With your immune system fully supported, long layovers and travel hiccups won’t bother you a bit. You’ve got this!

We love our Ester-C and do take that with when we travel, along with any other vitamins we may be taking. Making sure to drink enough water is really important for us too. Usually when we travel, we try to remember our Thieves oil that we use at least once a day.
