Halloween is one of my FAVORITE times of the year. Our family loves the costumes, the crafts, and of course the candy! Let’s see what ghoulishly fun crafts we are concocting in the our household.
This Halloween the Kids were challenged to come up with some “green” Halloween crafts. They had to find something around the house and turn it into something they could use for Halloween.
That’s how they came up with these easy Halloween candy holders. They’ve been making them ever since, and plan on passing them out on Halloween night to all of our scary visitors.
You guys know I am always joking how my kids must eat toilet paper because we are always going through SO much of it. Now it’s time to put all those toilet paper roles to work!
All you need to make these cute Halloween Candy Holders are toilet paper rolls (empty of course), craft paint, and your imagination!
I know some people are like ewww toilet paper, but rest assure, I use so much tissue paper for crafts that we have clean empty rolls at our house. If you don’t you can always use paper towel rolls cut in threes.
It’s super easy to make them. First make sure all the lint from the toilet paper is off of the roll. Then paint the whole roll with your craft paint. Allow to dry.
With some scissors, cut two slits on each end of the toilet paper roll. (About 1/2 inch in length) This will make it easier to fold the ends.
Fold one end together, and then fill with candy. Then fold the other end!
What’s your favorite things about Halloween?

this craft is cute but you should have made a video so people could uderstad this craft

Zoe, So glad you liked it. Videos are definitely in the near future. Thanks for the great suggestion 🙂

That is so unsanitary. Those rolls sat by your toilet all day collecting toilet spray and now you will put candy in them for little kids to eat? Yuck!
Nasty!

In order to absolve this issue is by lining the inside with either wax paper, butcher paper or even aluminium foil.
Ashley Sears says
Yep, you sure can do that. I would just cut open one roll town the middle to make a template for it, and then tack it into the inside with some hot glue.
