For those that didn’t think I was crazy enough, I’ve decided to jump off the pier head first into another adventure. No, this isn’t some cheesy sales pitch, but I wanted to share with you guys why LulaRoe?

My Lula Why?

Everyone’s reason for going on an adventure is different. For me, I was so tired of wearing pajamas all day every day. Sure that may sound like fun, but when you do it because it literally hurts for anything else to touch your body it can get to be really depressing very quickly! My fibromyalgia has gotten to the point that some days it even hurts to wear a bra. Seriously, that bad. Bleh!

About a year ago, a friend of mine was always talking about these awesome sauce leggings she’s wearing. Inspired by her self love and passion for leggings (despite being a plus sized gal), I wanted to learn more about what LulaRoe was all about.

My very first pair of LulaRoe leggings were these bright blue leggings with raccoon heads! It was love at first site! They were super soft (like buttery soft) and comfy and funky! Some of my favorite things!

Fast forward a year later, and with a body that seems to be very much against me, I decided to dive head first into LulaRoe and see if they would be the answer to my prayers.

When you dress in pajamas all day, it can really start to make you feel dumpy. Dumpy leads to bleh which leads to being depressed which equals more pain. It was time to figure something out. What I did was start adding more leggings, then some dresses, and then some covers and they were ALL just as amazingly comfortable! My fibromyalgia body was skipping (mentally of course)

Now I want to let all women out there know they can love their bodies for how they look and how they feel. LulaRoe is a GREAT company for spoonies and non spoonies alike. Sometimes my dresses are the next best thing to being naked (without acquiring a criminal record)

For me, LulaRoe started with finding clothes that didn’t hurt my fibromyalgia body but in the process, I’ve also found a line of clothing that allows me to LOVE my body too! There’s no body shaming allowed in LulaRoe! The clothes look great on every one, and even help you overcome those little demons in your head telling you that “you don’t look good in that” or “fat girls can’t wear leggings.” I’m hear to tell ya this fat girl wears leggings, AND loves herself in them. It’s really made me feel better about myself and my chronic illness.
