When life is at its darkest sometimes it’s hard to find even the smallest glimmer of hope. Even at the darkest of times though, there are small rays of sunshine that shine through if you just dare to pay attention. Even during the darkness there is hope finding inspiration.
That’s the thing about life, you have to pay attention in order to find inspiration. You have to be active and refuse to settle for anything less than spectacular.
That’s the thing about finding inspiration. It’s not something you find in your bank account. It’s not something you find in a smaller dress size. It’s something you find in the least expected places; seeing friends parting at an airport, eating an amazing morsel of food, or drinking in the amazing colors of winter.
Refusing to live an uninspired life is something we all owe ourselves. Life is too precious not to fill it with laughter, passion, and creativity.
In today’s world, we are told “we have to” accept ourselves working a soulless dead end job. We keep ourselves so busy that we don’t take the time to fill our buckets; to find out what truly inspires us. We roam through life like heartless zombies. Our zest for living squashed by obligation and responsibility.
As a parent, we owe it to our children and the next generation to break the cycle. We can learn so much from our youth. To look at the world with child like wonder is so important when reigniting your passion for life.
Ask yourself this, “What are you passionate about?” What inspires you? If you draw a blank, you owe it to yourself, and your happiness, to change that.
Passion doesn’t just exist. You have to discover it. You have to nurture it, and you have to treasure it. Passion starts as a small ember, but once discovered can quickly ignite into a smoldering flame.
The key to finding inspiration? Dare to look for it. Dare to believe anything is possible. Dare to make it happen. Only when you throw negativity and self-doubt to the wind can you truly live an inspired life.
