The 4th of July is right around the corner and I there are so many parades and carnivals for everyone to enjoy. I remember being so excited for our 4th of July parade! We would wave to the fire trucks and police officers as well as catch lots of tootsie rolls!
Today we have a fun and easy Parade wand to share with you for the upcoming 4th of July fun. Your kids will love making these as well as using them during the parade or other activities on the 4th of July! You could also make these for football games, birthday parties, Halloween or any kids event where they are having fun!
How to make a 4th of July Parade Wand
Materials you need
- Dowl
- Screw Eye
- Ribbon
- Washi Tape
Directions on how to make
Step 1 – Cut your Dowl to the size that you want. Mine was about a foot and a half long
Step 2 – Screw your Eye into the end of the dowl
Step 3 – Tie Ribbon of all different colors on the screw eye.
Step 4 – Add colored Washi tape to the handle and enjoy!
My kids helped make these, they were so easy to make. I let them pick out the ribbon, tape and then put them together. They were excited to make a couple for their cousins too.
