Vodka Martinis or Gin Martinis
If you are new to drinking martinis, then let me give you the low down. There is a serious martini debate going on when it comes to what makes a true martini.
Vodka martini or gin martini which one is the legit martini? Well, technically they both are!
Gin martinis are usually a much dryer drink. Usually served in a martini glass with dry vermouth. You can liven a gin martini recipe up with olives or a twist of citrus.
Sometimes people even go crazy and throw a dash of bitters in there! If you love things dry, and dirty, then you would love a gin martini.
Vodka martini recipes on the other hand give you a smoother flavor. If you want a homemade cocktail recipe that is smooth like a babies bottom, then you are gonna want to down a vodka martini.
I’ll admit, I’m a vodka martini gal all the way. Better yet, my favorite are dessert martini recipes because they are smooth and sweet (kinda like some men in my life)
