Some people complain to see Halloween crafts and Halloween candy up in stores right after Back to School season, but this quirky gal is P S Y C H E D when the aisles are all a lit with crazy candy options and some kick butt costume ideas! We may or may not have a family tradition of trying on the gigantic unicorn heads every year at Target!
When I was growing up, my dad used to have these EPIC Halloween displays every year. Everything was hand crafted including a handmade mausoleum, tombstones, and even a skeleton that popped out of a coffin. I guess you can say Halloween crafts and Halloween home decor ideas are in my blood. (Mwahahahahah, in my blood…..get it……)
Easy Halloween Crafts for Kids
Ever since my kids were little, we’ve been making Halloween crafts for kids. It was a fun bonding experience to get my kids to love Halloween as much as I do. (That’s one of the perks of parenting right)
Check out our families favorite Halloween crafts and activities from here on the blog and the geniuses across the Interwebz.
Spooky Halloween Lanterns: This was one of the very first, and most popular crafts, we’ve shared on Quirky Inspired. We had a ton of little ball jars around and figured we would upcycle what we already had to craft some Halloween crafts.
Pumpkin Washi Tape Craft: This Halloween washi tape craft is a really awesome way to get into the Halloween/fall spirit.
Halloween Scratch Ornaments: These cute black Halloween ornaments make great last minute Halloween crafts. There’s no major planning needed, and even kids as young as 3 or 4 can make some super cute stuff.
Kids Halloween Masks: Halloween isn’t just about making easy Halloween crafts! It’s also about awesome costumes. These cute kids’ Halloween masks doubles as both! Kids can make their own mask, so super cute!
